When I first began this business, I wasn’t feeling particularly inspired with a business name and my name was available as a domain, thus Jillian Foss | Personalized Services for Nonprofits came to be.

Fast-forward a few years, and it had become clear our most-desired services (and the areas I’ve become most qualified) are in the Salesforce and data arenas. Add to that a personal name change after a marriage, and it was time for a new company name: Dialed In Data.

Side note: having worked in databases for so long – where a marriage is often indicated by combining households and changing a last name, the one wedding-related thing I found myself looking forward to was becoming part of a “Mr. & Mrs. ____” household (surprisingly, I didn’t really dream about/plan my wedding until I was engaged).
What does “Dialed In Data” mean, you ask? Well, “dial in” is a term that has become popular in recent years to mean you are customizing something to be exactly what you need. In the words of Urban Dictionary:
That’s what we do at Dialed In Data: help you maintain your data completely, precisely, and as perfectly as possible. Allowing you to be confident you have the information you need to carry out your organization’s mission.
Whether that means cleaning up your old data and information, implementing Salesforce for your staff to track the information and data that’s important to you, training your staff to become stewards of helpful data, customizing your Salesforce instance to meet your needs, or acting as your Salesforce administrator, we will work with you to dial in your data and data systems to exactly what you need.
